The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso 270.2.73 belongs to the Reverso Classique line, built on the case architecture Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced in 1931 for polo players who needed a dial that could flip and protect the crystal during play. The rectangular case rotates on a hinged base within its carrier, exposing a solid caseback historically used for engraving and personalization. The Reverso has remained in continuous production since its debut and is one of the few Art Deco watch designs still made largely to its original form.
