Rolex for collectors
Rolex is the most liquid name in modern watch collecting. That liquidity is uneven: some references trade in volume every week; others sit until the right buyer appears. Rennwrist lists Rolex watches we hold for clients. Every sale runs through us as the seller.
This page is for owners who already hold significant watches and want context on how we think about Rolex pricing, not for someone buying a first watch.
Retail vs secondary
Retail price sets expectations; secondary comps set clearing levels. Steel sport models often trade above retail when allocation is tight. Vintage and precious-metal references move on condition, service history, and dial configuration. We price from verified sales, not from the highest ask still sitting on a board.
When spreads tighten, we advise hold or consign rather than forcing a sale below the price range you would accept.
References in our range
Submariner, GMT-Master II, Daytona, Explorer, and Datejust configurations in the $25k–$500k range are the core of what we list and source. Day-Date and selected vintage references when documentation is strong. We pass on references with no recent comps or uncertain configuration.
Buy, sell, or source
Inventory below shows Rolex watches available now. To sell or consign, use Sell and include reference and photos. To source a configuration not listed, use Source with the reference you want. We reply when we can place or underwrite the watch.
